lovely, lovely boxing day :)
brandon's lovely penthouse, once again.

had a fabulous dinner prepared by his family,
then headed up to his roof garden to play card games.

apart from me being the sai or toiletbowl almost all the time..
indiana poker was the bombz.
it was so friggin funny!
i was like 'ok. last round, down all.'
and everyone was set.

i chose a card...
and i got diamond 3. smallest of all (like, if i didnt change my card, i'd have to drink)
everyone was laughing like insane so i got the cue to swap cards!

at the end jon downed everything. god.

i do remember the wonderful apple strudel served..
and the all the yummy fritters!

and GUITAR HERO! epic. hahaha
okay, so we werent too familiar with the songs on guitar hero.
and someone had to take the mike.
so wj took the mike, and he sounded like the witch from l4d hahaha

was on drums and guitar, but i tell you, my drums fail one.
jon on mike was damn funny as well.
he was running out of breath, gasping & collapsing on the floor.

crazy night. wonderful christmas season :)

cold appetizer: tower of pork rillettes with caramelised blood citrus segment & fennel ceviche
soup: lobster veloute topped with caviar
warm appetizer: tataki of tuna with nikku salsa

intermezzo
main course: roast beef mignon on bed of straw potatoes topped with wild red berry coulis
bee had his 'pacific lobster & sea prawn in miso reduction topped with bush herbs'
desert: miniature christmas chocolate log cake with rum & raisin ice cream

i seriously dont mind putting on all the weight for those manz. :D
life's good, so why complain?

headed over to the jian-s' houses after that.
was really funny, with jw and zt trying to do tecktonik.

couldnt stop laughing omg!

ah, and we had a rocking live concert by sy, jw and jy!

anyway.. i think iphone apps are really awesome and handy,
but their camera sucks big time. 3MP & VGA videocam wtf!

all over the internet are comparisons between the iphone 3GS and samsung I8910 HD
and samsung's taking the lead, it seems.
8MP, HD videocam, amoled etc etc

well, reluctant to carry my lumix cam everywhere cause it's bulkier than a phone..

can someone decide which i should give up?
or should i just carry both around -____-
that seems really weird.
might as well just buy an itouch right.

well, it was my first time having a pro makeup artist help me with makeup and hair.
loved the makeup, and although i wouldnt say the hair was great, i'll say it look different :)

used so much hairspray that at the end of the day, after i've removed 9 bobby pins and 2 rubber bands,
my ponytail was still there haha.

makeup session. to summarize it.
yunzhen and i, late.
fawn and emily, even later.
all of us, very late.

then it was photos, dinner and the neverending wait to get into the club.

after that it was party time!
awesome, was on a mad high dancing, screaming, singing with the beautiful girls.

was really tired after that and thank god i cabbed home
cause the instant i got into the cab, it started pouring heavily. very.
wouldnt want my parents to witness a smudgy meltdown and freak them out.

my cousin got married today, at the very luxurious fullerton hotel.
im the only one left on the shelf with an expiry date that would come very very very much later haha.

uncle said i put on weight!
so after 16 days of bliss, i finally mustered the courage to step onto the weighing scale.

oh the horror.
i gained 3 kilos (well, considering it was after today's 8 course dinner + a really sinful dinner, thanks chua and food takes abit of time to process)
maybe 2 kilos.

omfg :(

k hope i start losing weight once school starts!

trip was amazing, although tad too long, started to miss chicken rice & everything else.

well, not to flaunt or boast or anything, but seriously..
i think im freaking terrible.
ah so much for not shopping before the trip haha.

there are some of the stuff i brought home.

1) 5 gucci bags, and they are not the tiny sort.
2) 3 gucci wallets
3) 1 bally bag (whew)
4) 2 samsonite luggages (f-ing huge) and 1 briefcase
5) 200 swiss franc worth of lindt chocolate
6) much clothing & accessories
7) freaking cool, awesome bata (buy and throw away LOL) boots

bata is waaaaay cooler in europe hahaha.
